Donna G. Mellor, age 85, passed away Saturday morning July 13, 2013 after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Millville. She had briefly worked at Bell Telephone and Wheatons but most of her life she loved her role as wife, mother, and grandmother. Donna enjoyed socializing at Jim's lunch, music, puzzles and the color blue. She was a devoted member of the Fourth United Methodist Church for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband George, brother James Goodwin and sisters Dolores Flanagan and Dorothy Edwards.
Donna is survived by her loving daughter, Donna M. Smith and her husband William ; loving son Douglas Mellor; her pride and joy, grandson Ryan Brown and his wife Erica; two precious grandsons, Gavin and Evan Brown; sister Peggy Easmunt and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Donna's funeral service 12 noon Tuesday at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 east Main Street in Millville. There will be a viewing from 10:30 am to 12 noon Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
