Debra Ann
Pierce
d. Aug 28, 2024
Millville
Debra Ann Pierce, age 65, of Millville, passed away August 28, 2024, at Inspira Hospital.
Debbie was born in Millville, grew up in Port Norris, and lived most of her adult life in Millville. She had worked in the A/R department of Rennoc Inc. from 1988-2009.
Debbie enjoyed lighthouses, visits to the boardwalk, and seeing the wild ponies in Ocean City, MD. She delighted in walking the beaches during sunrise. She was an avid bird watcher, watching birds outside her living room window. It brought her joy to see the many hummingbirds, finches, goldfinches, and her favorite bird-the cardinals. She believed that the cardinals were sign from God that everything would be alright.
She loved her four-legged fur babies. She cared for her loving cats almost as much as family. Her family and friends were the most important part of her life. Her friends, Diane and Michelle, were very important to her and daily texts to both became a daily routine-no matter how she felt. She also texted her loving cousin, Karen, every day. Debbie's family was very important to her. She was very proud of her son, Steve, as he travelled God's path. Her children, and especially grandchildren filled her life with joy. Her grandchildren were the most important thing to her, no matter what-the grandchildren came first. Debbie lived for huggies from Conner, Madison, Danny, and Samara. They always made her smile and laugh.
She and her loving husband, Joe, had 30 blessed years together. He was undeniably her anchor in life, and she was his. They shared all the things in life that loving couples share. They especially enjoyed visits to Harrison's Harbor Watch in Maryland for dinner with a view of the water.
Last, but not least, her love and faith in God was ultimately her go to. She spent days and nights reading her bible and praying. She prayed for everybody and everything. Her loving and caring church family was very important to her.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jospeh Pierce; brother, Kevin Felmey; son, Steve Dill and his fiancé, Johanna; stepson, Michael Pierce and his wife, Tracy; stepdaughter, Kathy Arp and her husband, Mike; and grandchildren, Conner, Madison, and Samara Dill and Daniel Arp.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Debbie's life 11 AM on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Millville Church of the Nazarene, 2201 E. Main Street, Millville, NJ 08332. A small luncheon will be held in the church following the service.
