Christina Makos, age 78 of Millville, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.

Born in Bridgeton, she was raised in Cedarville and was a longtime resident of Millville. She had worked as a nurse for Inspira Health Network for over 31 years. She enjoyed puzzles, traveling and Civil War re-enactment with her husband and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and siblings.

Christina was predeceased by her husband of 31 years, John R. Makos, Jr. and her parents, Charles and Marie (Suppa) Lamanteer and brothers Bonino (Bruno) Lamanteer and John Lamanteer. She is survived by her children, William Tozer, Jennifer Tozer, Colette Goranson, and Tina Hawk (Ron); step children, Brian Makos (Donna) and Adrian Pettit; brothers, Paul Lamanteer (Eleanor), Anthony Lamanteer (Virginia), and William Lamanteer (Joyce); sisters, Rose Beck, Alice Headley, Lucy Duffield (Bruno), and Theresa Gilbert; 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral service on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville. There will be a viewing from 2 PM to 3 PM, followed by the funeral service at 3  PM.  Burial will be private.
