Charlotte Roberta Campbell Elwell, age 92, of Port Elizabeth, passed away Friday morning, June 3, 2022, in Millville, New Jersey. She passed peacefully with her daughter by her side.

She was born September 22, 1929, in Port Norris, New Jersey, lived there until she married and moved to Port Elizabeth. She was a long-time member of the Port Elizabeth United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and served as their pianist.  Charlotte was also active in the Brown Street Chowder Society of Port Norris for several years, playing the bass guitar. She enjoyed a long career as a Postal Clerk at the Port Elizabeth Post Office and after retirement spent winters in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Charlotte is deeply loved by her family; daughter, Donna (Ron) Foster; grandchildren: Carl (Kelly) Simpson, Valerie (Seth) Neuber, Kenny (Alicia) Simpson, Stacy (Jon) Reynolds; 12 great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.  She was welcomed to heaven by her husband of 51 years, Ken Elwell; her daughter, Roberta Simpson; half-brothers: George, William, and Bobby Lindsay; and her parents, Robert and Jennie Fisher Campbell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral service on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. There will be a viewing from 12 PM to 1 PM, followed the funeral service at 1 PM. Burial will be in Haleyville Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Port Elizabeth Methodist Church, P.O. Box 101, Port Elizabeth, NJ 08348.
