Catherine A. Dunn

April 13, 1939-September 13, 2025

With sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Dunn.  Catherine was the daughter of Walter McNeil and Anna McNeil (Steubin). She was born in New York City. She graduated from Charles Evans Hughes High School.  After school she married the love of her life, John Dunn, and they started a family.  Catherine stayed home to take care of their son Kevin, who was an avid participant in the Special Olympics until his departure from life. Catherine and her husband started their own plumbing business, Dunn Rite Plumbing, which they ran together successfully until retirement.  They moved to Sarasota, Florida and spent many happy years together with their friends.  Catherine enjoyed going on vacations as well as trips to the casino and playing bingo.  She is survived by her sisters, Carol DeMorris & Anna McGirr, her son-in-law Harry, her daughter-in-law Tracci, her grandchildren Harry (Tammy), John, Amanda (Patrick), Russell, Shane and her great grandchildren Scarlet, Harry, Annie, Xander, Jewels, and Caden.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John and her children Cheryl, Pat, Kevin, and Joe and a great granddaughter, Rhianna.   To honor Catherine's wishes the burial will be private.
