Carol Henry
September 22, 1957- October 13, 2025
Carol Henry (nee DePrizio) passed away peacefully at home at the age of 68 with her family at her bedside. She was a Brooklyn native that called Millville her home for the past 20 years.
Carol had a love for gardening and could usually be found tending to the vast amounts of plants and flowers in her yard. This passion led her to earn the title of Master Gardner. She was an active Member of the Master Gardeners of NJ where she made many friends. She could always be depended upon to answer any question someone might have whether it be what techniques to use to yield the best harvest of vegetables or how to identify a specific flower. She was an incredible cook who could make just about anything without ever needing a recipe and always liked to try new things in her kitchen.
Carol was a very warm and friendly person and could start a conversation with a stranger about almost anything. She touched the lives of many, and her personable and approachable nature made it hard not to instantly love her and want to talk to her.
She is survived by her beloved husband Donnie and two sons Michael (Lopez) and Andrew (Lopez) as well as two step-children Brandon (Henry) and Jamie (Ladd) who she loved as her own and her grandchildren Brandon Jr, Wade (Parker), Remy, Rivers and Wilder.
She is also survived by her brothers John (DePrizio), Robert (DePrizio), and Raymond (DePrizio) and her sisters Susan (Cosentino) and Claudia (Cattano) and their spouses as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street, Millville. A viewing will take place from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday October 17, 2025, and on Saturday October 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park on East Broad Street in Millville.
