Carol A. Ayars, 69, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on Sunday morning (10/30/2016) with her family by her side.
Born in Bridgeton, she has been a Millville resident since 1984. Carol enjoyed arts and crafts, cake decorating, and playing video games with her grandchildren. Her life revolved around her family and she loved spending time with them. Carol was deeply rooted in her faith and was the true matriarch of the family. She was predeceased by her daughter Maryann and brothers, William and Joseph Huffstickler.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Michael J. Ayars, Sr.; her children, Michael J. Jr. and his wife Regina, Mark and his wife Penny, David, Daniel and his wife Jennifer, and Carol and her husband Richard; sister, Annamarie Lazos-Lamcken; brothers, James and Ronald Huffstickler, George and Paul Lazos; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Carol's funeral service 1 PM Wednesday (11/2/2016) at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville, where there will be a viewing from 11 am to 1 pm. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
