Arthur E. Henningsen was born in East Keansburg on September 15, 1927. He lived in Monmouth County for over 50 years, before moving to Cumberland County. He was the owner of A.H. Electric Co. for 50 years. He was married to Elizabeth for 43 years before she died in 2004. He is predeceased by his mother, Grace and father, Charles E. Henningsen and a brother, Charles. He died peacefully in his sleep on April 3, 2016 from complications from leukemia.
Arthur loved hunting and fishing and loved his pets, especially his dog Daisy. He will be missed by his daughter, Patricia Birbano and husband Mark; and his son, Arthur D. Henningsen and wife Betty; as well as his grandchildren, Wendy Birbano, Christine and her husband Emil Donatello, and David Henningsen. He will also be missed by his great grandchildren, Adira and Emil IV Donatello.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Arthur's funeral service 1PM Wednesday (4/6/2016) in the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. There will be a viewing from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
