Adeline Bruun, age 90, passed away peacefully Monday morning, June 18, 2012, at her home. She was surrounded by her family. A lifelong resident of Vineland, she had worked for the City of Vineland as a clerk in the Utilities Dept. Adeline also volunteered for the American Cancer Society and Vineland Regional Dance Company.
She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Edna Dondero and her husband Bennie I. Bruun. Adeline is survived by many nieces and nephews, many of which recall her favorite quote " your first hundred years are the hardest".
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass 10 am Friday at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish ( formerly St Rose of Lima Church), 104 Catawba Ave., Newfield, NJ 08344. There will be a viewing from 8:30 am to 10 am in the church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
